Move-N-Learns

Group of people walking down stairs

Move-N-Learns provide participants with an opportunity to get some physical activity while learning something new. They typically consist of a  free, guided tour of a building or location on KU's beautiful campus or an activity based event. All Jayhawk faculty and staff are welcome to attend.

Please note: The Kansas State Employees Health Care Commission voted in 2022 to no longer award HealthQuest credits for agency-specific activities beginning in 2023.

Individuals seeking reasonable accommodations can contact Faculty and Staff Wellness at wellness@ku.edu.

Registration is required prior to an event.

Location: Spencer Museum of Art

Join curator Kris Ercums for a gallery talk that delves into the extraordinary life and art of Japanese American artist Jimmy Tsutomu Mirikitani (1920-2012), exploring artworks in the exhibition: Street Nihonga. Street Nihonga sheds light on Mirikitani’s creative practice, intertwining artmaking, life narration, and street activism through the largest assembly of his works to date. We’ll meet in the front lobby of the Spencer.
