Description

Primarily serving students, Watkins Health Services provides comprehensive medical care and outreach programs through a team of dedicated professionals. As a student-focused, student-friendly center, its mission is to advance the quality of life for university students, improving academic performance and increasing retention.

STUDENTS:

Watkins Health Services primarily exists to provide healthcare to currently enrolled students of The University of Kansas who are eligible to receive some services at no cost and others at the reduced "Health Fee" rates. Past students may be seen up to 90 days after their last date of enrollment but must pay a non-health fee rate for all services.  

The spouse or domestic partner of a currently enrolled, KU student is eligible for the same healthcare services at Watkins Health Services.

FACULTY and STAFF:

Watkins Health Services operates an immediate care clinic for currently employed KU faculty and staff, along with the following services: allergy injections/immunizations, athletic training evaluation and treatment, flu shots, laboratory tests, pharmacy, radiology, tobacco cessation support, and travel health appointments.
