Who: 

Open to all KU Faculty and Staff

When:

October 6- December 15, 2015

Why: 

There are many benefits associated with walking including:

  • Strengthens Legs
  • Burns More Fat Than Jogging
  • Reduces Glaucoma Risk
  • Improves Blood Pressure
  • Engages Ab Muscles
  • And Much More!

 

What you get from us:

What we need from you:

  • Steps self-reported via email at least once a week (pedometer holds 7 days of information)
  • Complete 3 quick surveys throughout the study
  • Pick up pedometer from on Thursday, October 2, 2015 from one of the following locations
    • Strong Hall 12:30-2:30PM
    • Ambler Student Recreation Fitness Center 4:00-6:00PM
  • If unable to pick up, let us know so we can deliver it to you.
